Word Alive Christian Center, Inc. began as a Bible study in the home of Curtis and Tina Norton in 1989. Under Pastor Norton's leadership the church was officially incorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey on December 4, 1990.

Word Alive Christian Center believes that our spiritual assignment is to feed and nurture individuals that will be equipped for the Word of God in the world. We desire to motivate and challenge individuals to change through the principles of God's Word, the Bible.

Our objective is to be an expression of the love of Jesus reaching out to the hurting, the lonely, and the afraid who are often forgotten in our fast-paced society. We desire to be a place where all members are important and needed.

Our vision entails a literal transformation of the believer's life as one adheres to the Word becoming Alive in their spirit. This will enable the believer to birth dreams and visions into reality. Out thrust is toward an entity creating an economy within an economy.

Currently in a period of reconstruction Word Alive has partnered with Norton Ministries to continue it’s commitment to bringing transformation.   As the vision continues, Word Alive will be offering an online, accredited Bible College to further facilitate its committment to train five-fold ministry workers for skilled kingdom building.  The following vineyards are local fellowships we are in covenant with during this transition.
