Many resources on motivation also point out that having a healthy lifestyle is important for motivation. This is largely because in many ways motivation is biological. Getting good sleep, plenty of exercise, and a healthy diet can all have an impact on how your body and mind work.
Many larger businesses have resources available for encouraging employees to have healthier lifestyles to increase their productivity. If your business doesn't have access to that kind of resource, consider looking for ways to get a program started. If you are a healthy and self-motivated person, consider offering to give a little workshop or lecture to interested coworkers to get the ball rolling.
